Love Makes the World go Round

My last poem for Christmas is "Love: The True Meaning Of Christmas". I posted this poem during my first month of blog posts under the theme of Love. I re-posted this poem now because I feel that the Christmas story is really a story of God's love to His people.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3: 16.

I did a bible study once and I remember the author saying that, "As soon as the fall happened, the shadow of the cross appeared." And that is so true, even as God was casting Adam and Eve out of paradise, He already had His plan of redemption being put into place. God is a Loving and Caring Father and He put His only son in the place of sacrifice for us. If that is not Love, I don't know what is.

As we start a new year, I am going to share poems of a more personal nature.
