Life Gets in the Way

I had intended to write a blog each week to discuss the idea from the poem that was posted, with each month having a specific theme. Well, INTENDED is the operative word here. See life got in the way big time around the holidays and set me off course.For Thanksgiving and my son's 18th birthday, we all got the flu, BAD. Well we all recovered in time to attend no less then 3 concerts and 1 parade in the week of my daughter's 16th birthday when crap hit the fan. My husband, my 11 year old and myself were coming home from said parade when a car ran a red light and we hit it in the side. Our truck was totaled and we walked away with minor injuries, but between the pain from the wreck and the pain of dealing with towing companies and people wanting to sue us (did I mention they ran a red light), I have not been in the best of spirits. But I firmly believe everything happens for a reason, so I am going to catch up on my blogs starting with the current one and then work my way back til I catch up. I have started to match the picture with poem to the picture of the corresponding blog, so hopefully you can follow along with me. Hope to talk to you soon.
